At Brechin Public School we believe that reading for pleasure and personal satisfaction leads to life-long learning. The atmosphere of the library is intended to encourage exploration and the development of personal interests. Each student who discovers personal relevance in information celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of all people.

The Library Resource Centre is also involved with school-wide information skills development by supporting classroom activities and promoting inquiry and research skills.
